There’s nothing romantic in the dark
Save a candle, someone learning shadows on the wall
I wonder too, if living's something that I even want to do
When I look at the vast, vast, vast, vast land I have claimed
I kiss my family
I am ashamed
I say I love you
I am maimed
You speak your mind
Then you're afraid
One day ill be solid
but not today
not today
not today
not today
I don't want to have to feel good to feel good
Does anyone know what that mean
I feel alone when I'm surrounded
Togetherness suffocating
or is it me
or is it me
or is it

Just inspiring combination of emo-jazz in its purest form. Lyrically it goes over interesting ideas of multiculturalism, parental issues and generational trauma in some of the best ways I've heard in a while. All of the instrumental sections are just beautiful and both singers are outstanding. My favorite moments are probably the almost-yelling section halfway through "I'm From Here" and the horn sections on "Quirk". PeterA

I love this album so much. So many perfect songs to fit all of the jaw dropping moments from this arc. Especially the diary of sheriff isaak. What a banger. fishfeets

Nearly a decade late to the Taz party, but I’m so glad to be aware of it now! I don’t know what elixir Griffin put into the album but I would like to drink a gallon of it. katiegreene137
