I am alive and I don't know why
I wasn't raised with god so there are no questions
Now when it ends, it will just be whatever it is
You keep trying to understand
why you don't understand
There is enough room in hands for two
The open or the other, whichever is better
If it doesn't matter why do people worry
It will just be whatever it's always been
But you keep trying to understand
why you don't understand

Just inspiring combination of emo-jazz in its purest form. Lyrically it goes over interesting ideas of multiculturalism, parental issues and generational trauma in some of the best ways I've heard in a while. All of the instrumental sections are just beautiful and both singers are outstanding. My favorite moments are probably the almost-yelling section halfway through "I'm From Here" and the horn sections on "Quirk". PeterA

I love this album so much. So many perfect songs to fit all of the jaw dropping moments from this arc. Especially the diary of sheriff isaak. What a banger. fishfeets

Nearly a decade late to the Taz party, but I’m so glad to be aware of it now! I don’t know what elixir Griffin put into the album but I would like to drink a gallon of it. katiegreene137
