Kick me I'm a live impale me
I can take it a little longer
Wished to have you as my whole life
Think before you speak for once
Point me in a way so I can't
Paint myself into the corner
It's been slowly death by 1,000 cuts
I feel as I've been alive my whole life
I don't have direction
Without who I'm supposed to be
I can't fill my own shadow
Wasting myself
And myself is not worth the weight of it all

Just inspiring combination of emo-jazz in its purest form. Lyrically it goes over interesting ideas of multiculturalism, parental issues and generational trauma in some of the best ways I've heard in a while. All of the instrumental sections are just beautiful and both singers are outstanding. My favorite moments are probably the almost-yelling section halfway through "I'm From Here" and the horn sections on "Quirk". PeterA

I love this album so much. So many perfect songs to fit all of the jaw dropping moments from this arc. Especially the diary of sheriff isaak. What a banger. fishfeets

Nearly a decade late to the Taz party, but I’m so glad to be aware of it now! I don’t know what elixir Griffin put into the album but I would like to drink a gallon of it. katiegreene137
